Double digits....

I am still in shock! I cant beleive it! Austin has turned 10! I don't like it AT ALL!!! It feels like just yesterday I met him for the first time!! A sweet little 6 year old running around in the front yard because he was being shy! He was so sweet! (he still is)
Over the past 4 years we have been through so much! Ball games, birthdays, vacations, game nights, ect! I would not trade it for anything! I love Austin SO much! And thank God for allowing me to be his mom! Even though I did not give birth to him, he is MY SON!!! And I will never leave him! I will always be in his life!!!

Still not too old....

Yesterday was Austin's 10th birthday!!!
(WOW!!! I am still in shcok saying that!!!)
Every year on his birthday I take him cupcakes to school!
This year, I planned on doing it, I just never told him!
So before as we were leaving to go to school, Austin asked me if I would come eat lunch with him! I was already planning on being there, he just didn't know!
So of course I said yes!
I get there, LATE, like always! Not too bad though!
In the school parking lot, I opened the back of my car to get Aaron's stroller out and THREE 2-LITERS fell out of my car!!! UGH!!!!!
Only one busted open!
So I get inside and Austin looked totally suprised that I remembered to bring him cupcakes!
When I asked him if he thought I forgot, he looked at me and smiled, and said yes ;o)
After lunch, all the kids were going to put their tray's up, and I was getting ready to leave.....
Next thing I know, Austin is coming back over to me!
( I was totally suprised because he always just leaves! He runs off with his buddy's!)
He came back to give me a hug!
MELTED MY HEART!!!!
He told me bye, told me he loved me and left!!!
That kid means so much to me!
We have hard times, but we are both still trying to learn about each other!
But for him to come back to me and hug me in front of all the kids in that lunchroom ment SO much to me!
I love him so much! And I so greatful that God chose me to be his mom! And to raise him!
Josh, Austin, and Aaron has blessed my life more than words can say!
